I have this kettle, and it is great, heats water fine, and the spout opens when you pick it up (a requirement in my mind) the only flaw is that they put a Kitchen Aid metal logo right on top of the handle, which heats up enough that it causes you to have to use a pot holder....if it werent for that, it would have been perfect.
